The Shaker Arts Council (SHAC) invites local community members to submit proposals for arts-related lectures/webinars that will be offered during the month of July.July. These events will be presented via Shaker Arts Council’s Zoom account as a part of Stay-in-Place Productions. Webinars will be free and open to the public. SHAC will not be able to compensate presenters; however, we hope that
this opportunity to share your expertise will help give you exposure and promote
your business.
Webinars will be scheduled for one-hour slots. The format will begin with presentations and will be followed with a questions and answer period.
Examples of topics include:
• How to write contracts between artists and patrons
• How to sell your art on Etsy
• Managing stress with the arts
• Navigating your arts career
Applications will be reviewed by the SHAC selection committee upon receipt. The final deadline is June 25, 2020 Applicants will be notified after review by the selection committee. Preference will be given to residentsof Shaker Heights and the Shaker Heights School District and to Shaker
Arts Council members.
