Shaker Arts Council (SHAC) is proud to announce the unveiling of seven newly wrapped utility boxes throughout Shaker Heights. Six of the designs are by local professional artists, and one is the senior project of Shaker Heights High School’s recent graduate Aerrian Midgett. This box, sponsored by the Shaker Heights High School PTO, can be viewed at the corner of Holmwood and South Woodland near Mercer School.
This year’s participating artists and their box locations are:
Renee Parker Boyle, Lee Road and Scottsdale Boulevard
Sheila Reingold, Eaton Road and Shaker Boulevard
Nancy Schwartz-Katz, South Green Road and Shaker Boulevard
Pam Spremulli, Warrensville Center Road and Shaker Boulevard East
Tanya Tate, Attleboro Road, Shaker Boulevard and Lee Road
Alicia Vasquez, Warrensville Center Road and Shaker Boulevard West
Photos of the boxes have been added to SHAC’s Shaker Heights Public Art Blue Line Tour and Green Line Tour, respectively. Both tours can be accessed by computer or mobile device at shakerartscouncil.org. Everyone is invited to explore the tours in person or virtually.
Box designs were printed and installed by Diamond Signs & Graphics.
