An Art Project on a Utility Box at the corner of S. Woodland and Woodbury roads will be officially ‘revealed’ to the public as part of the Woodbury Clock Tower & Bell Public Dedication ceremony on Monday, August 29 at 9 am. The 'Art on the Utility Box' project is a first-time collaborative effort of the Shaker Arts Council, the SHHS PTO, the Shaker Heights High School Art Department, the City of Shaker Hts. Planning Department, and PTO volunteer/parent Susan Rotatori. The design is the work of 2016 graduate/SHHS art student Maisha Lewis under the guidance of Art Dept. Chair Karen DeMauro. As Lewis' Senior Project, her colorful artwork design whimsically illustrates a child playing through the seasons. This art box is the first of many SHAC and its future partners aspire to create throughout the city.
