Shaker Arts Council presents SHAC on TRAC

6/20/2018

On Saturday, August 18, 2018, the Shaker Arts Council (SHAC) will present the second annual SHAC on TRAC –The Road to Arts & Community, a celebration of our mission to build the community through the arts and to build the arts through the community.  SHAC on TRAC, a party celebrating the Shaker Heights Public Library summer reading program and the end of summer, will feature an interactive art activity, live music and strolling entertainers.  The art activity will engage each participant in creating and contributing to two mosaic sculptures, each to beautify a Shaker RTA rapid station.  The event, in collaboration with the Shaker Heights Public Library, will be held from 4 – 8 pm at the Community Colonnade, corner of Lee Rd. and Van Aken Blvd., Shaker Heights, Ohio, 44120.  Bring a lawn chair and enjoy a performance by City Heat playing family friendly classic rock and Motown followed by the blues stylings of Blue Lunch.  This event is free and open to the public.  For more information visit shakerartscouncil.org.

Shaker Arts Council’s SHAC on TRAC is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
