On Friday, January 29, 2016, the Shaker Arts Council 2016 Aha! (At Home with the Arts) series presents Rio Neon in concert. Folk, swing, Celtic, jug band, gospel, old time string band an undercurrent of good old rock and roll, and a big heaping of Jazz - that is Rio Neon. Almost all the music has been rearranged and Rio-Neonized with an original spin. The performance will be held at Loganberry Books, 13015 Larchmere Boulevard, Shaker Heights, OH 44120. Tickets are $30 and include light refreshments and a wine reception. The evening begins at 7:00 pm with time to mingle with your fellow attendees, or browse the bookstore, followed by the performance at 7:45. For ticket reservations and more information call 216..916-.9360. Tickets can also be  purchased  online  at www.shakerartscouncil.org.

Rio Neon has played a unique blend of distinctly American music for 14 years. Rio Neon is Red Michel on guitars and vocals, Sally Kandel on ukulele, percussion and vocals, Roger Phillips on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Bob Smith on bass and vocals and Jim Kooser on percussion.

Shaker Arts Council Aha! series is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture
