Artist's statement about the utility box design: This image is an original drawing of a series I am working on of decomposing fish bones on the shores of Lake Erie. I photograph the image and then hyper realistically shade them in color pencil. I try to capture the decomposition along with the growing foliage for contrast. I further digitized the image for this specific application using some digital media."
