Holiday Pop Up Boutique

The Shaker Arts Council invites local artists and artisans to participate in a virtual holiday craft pop up. Disciplines can include any artistic genre, for example: drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, photography and sculpture and even specialty foods or beauty products.

The boutique will run November 28 - December 31, 2020.
Application Due Date: November 18, 2020
Entry Fee: $10 for SHAC Members $25; for Non-members

SHAC’s Commitment to Artists
SHAC will provide a dedicated website page with artist listings, social media postings, press releases, and more.

Rules for Participation
• ART: All work exhibited must be original, designed and produced by or under the direct supervision of the exhibiting artist. The artist must be 18 years of age or older.
• SAMPLES: Artists must provide up to 3 images as high-res. jpgs of the type of work to be sold in this popup.
• FEES: Artists will be required to pay the appropriate fee as listed above.  Upon clicking submit, you will be directed to the payment page.
• REFUNDS: SHAC cannot give refunds for artist’s fees due to circumstances beyond its control.
• SALES & STATE SALES TAX: Artists must handle financial sales of their work and the pickup or delivery of their work. SHAC is not responsible for sales transactions or for the pickup or delivery of artwork. All artists are responsible for abiding by all tax laws and collecting applicable taxes on each sale. For more Information, contact the Ohio Department of Revenue or view taxation requirements on the State of Ohio website.
• MEDIA RELEASE/CONSENT: I, the undersigned, do hereby release all rights or claims in connection with the photo(s) in which I appear for use by the Shaker Arts Council and all sponsors. I understand that the photo(s), if used, will be for the promotional purpose of assisting future SHAC events. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photo(s) and/or advertising copy. All photographs shall constitute the sole property of SHAC.

My initials below attest that the work is my own design and crafted by me or under my direct supervision; that the work I post will be similar to the images I submit in quality and style; and that the work is all original. If accepted, SHAC reserves the right to use my identified images to promote the Pop-Up. My signature further attests that I have carefully read, accept and agree to abide by all the rules and regulations set forth in this application.
