An Evening of Blues, Soul & Jazz with Sam Hooper

Experience an evening of live blues, soul, jazz, rock, and funk with the Sam Hooper Group, presented as part of the Shaker Arts Council's Heart of the Arts Series.
Cleveland musician Sam Hooper has performed for audiences around the world, including China, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, and across the United States. His soulful vocals have been compared to Otis Redding, while his guitar work evokes the energy and artistry of Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana.
Now back in his hometown of Cleveland, Sam brings that international experience home for a dynamic
evening of exceptional musicianship, energy, and great live music.
Time: 7:00 pm Concert Doors open at 6:30 pm

Join SHAC for a special docent-led exploration at the Cleveland Museum of Art, one of the nation’s premier art museums. This curated experience pairs the insight of a museum docent with the perspective of a Shaker Heights arts leader, offering a unique lens on selected works from the museum’s world-renowned collection. Following the tour, guests are invited to continue the experience with a relaxed conversation led by our local expert, reflecting on how art connects to community, history, and creative life in Shaker Heights. Limited group size to allow conversation and reflection.
