The
Hoopes Trio,
Anna 17, Alexandra, 15 and Chad, 13, all study at the Cleveland
Institute of Music. All are members, and Anna is principal
violinist, of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra at
Severance Hall. In 2007 the Hoopes were invited the Governor and
First Lady of Ohio to perform at the Governor's Mansion in
Columbus. In December 2007 they performed on "From The Top", a
nationally broadcast program.
Anna,
Alexandra and Chad have each won various state and local music
competitions, have received individual solo recital invitations,
and have appeared as a soloist and performed with several
orchestras. In June 2007 Chad performed with his violin in a
television commercial for the Cleveland Indians.
